About Grassroot Media

Built with clubs. Not just placed in them.

Grassroot Media is a three-person core team connected to hundreds of grassroots sports clubs, and to the people who make those clubs work every week.

A hands-on media owner for brands, agencies and clubs across football, rugby, cricket and bowls.

1shared-value model for brands and clubs

Small team. Big grassroots network.

We are small by design. Our reach is built through relationships.

There are three of us at the centre of Grassroot Media. That means clients and clubs deal with people who know the network, understand the environments and can make decisions quickly.

But the work does not stop with us. Across the country, clubs are sustained by committee members, coaches, captains, bar teams, grounds staff, players, members, parents and volunteers. They are the people who make a club feel like a club, and they are the reason our network has more substance than a venue list.

We do not pretend they are our employees. They are the people we work with and for. Their trust, local knowledge and care for their own club are what make the network real.

The network behind the network

Every placement is supported by real club life.

A poster or screen is only part of the story. The real value comes from the people, routines and social spaces around it.

01

Club contacts

Committee members, secretaries, commercial leads and volunteers help make sure the right campaign is in the right part of the club.

02

Venue teams

Bar staff, clubhouse teams and screen hosts understand the practical detail of how people use the space day to day.

03

Sporting communities

Players, coaches, parents, supporters and members create the repeat visits, shared identity and social conversation that make clubs different.

04

Grassroot Media

We connect the commercial brief with the club setting, then stay involved from campaign planning through delivery and learning.

Why our way of working matters

A better connected route into grassroots sport.

Large media networks can offer scale. Our strength is combining a national route with the context, accountability and practical detail that comes from working directly with clubs.

01

Direct, not distant

Campaigns do not disappear into a chain of intermediaries. We keep the route between the advertiser, Grassroot Media and the club clear.

02

Built around the setting

We plan for the changing room, clubhouse, bar, fixture, season or social moment that gives a message the right context.

03

Clubs have a real role

Hosts are partners, not passive inventory. Clubs can support relevant activity, use their own content and benefit from the value around the media.

04

Useful value stays local

Revenue share, free screens, sponsor visibility, creative support and club resources are designed to make the relationship worthwhile for the host club too.

For advertisers and agencies

More than reach. A real place for the message to land.

Use posters, digital screens and club amplification to reach active social people in environments where sport, community and conversation are already part of the day.

  • National, sport-specific, regional and calendar-led routes
  • Planning around audience, setting, timing and format
  • Direct campaign support and clear delivery evidence

For clubs

Support that helps the club make more happen.

Free screens, campaign opportunities, sponsor tools, Partner Offers and funding guidance all come from the same belief: grassroots clubs should benefit from the commercial activity around them.

  • Practical resources for sponsorship and local income
  • Free screens, content support and local advertising potential
  • Relevant campaigns, transparent terms and ongoing help

How a campaign moves through the network

Start with the people, place and moment. Then make it work in the real world.

We do not believe in forcing a standard package onto every brief. A useful campaign starts with the outcome, the people who need to see it and the club environment where it will make the most sense.

01

Understand the brief

We establish the audience, objective, timing and the role the campaign needs to play.

02

Choose the right club route

We match sports, locations, formats and social moments to the commercial task.

03

Deliver with care

We work with our club network to make the campaign visible, appropriate and properly supported.

04

Learn and build

Delivery evidence, feedback and campaign results help shape the next useful decision.

Independent recognition

External proof for both the model and the campaigns.

Grassroot Media has been recognised for the innovation behind its media model, while campaigns delivered through the network have received national marketing-industry recognition.
