Club offers and fundraising

More ways to make your club’s money go further.

A practical starting point for clubs looking to create income, reduce costs, find independent funding or build stronger sponsorship over time.

Start with the job you need to do

Four routes. Different kinds of value.

Not every club needs a grant, a discount or a new sponsor at the same time. Choose the route that matches the practical challenge in front of you, then take the next clear step.

01

Create local income

Use the places and attention your club already has to promote sponsors, local advertisers, room hire, events and fundraising.

  • Sell local screen visibility and keep the income
  • Use paid poster or screen campaigns when they suit the club
  • Promote club events, membership, raffles and venue hire

02

Save money through offers

Browse selected products, services and referral opportunities that may help clubs reduce costs, raise funds or operate more effectively.

  • Practical partner products and services
  • Clear referral and relationship disclosures
  • Always check current provider terms

03

Find independent funding

Use our human-reviewed directory of official routes for facilities, activity, community projects, equipment, tax relief and wider funding.

  • Independent from paid Partner Offers
  • Official source links and eligibility checks
  • Time-limited listings managed with expiry dates
Search the Funding Finder
04

Build stronger sponsorship

Turn the commercial value already inside the club into clearer packages, better local-business conversations and more confident renewals.

  • Identify credible commercial assets
  • Create a sponsor pack and price it sensibly
  • Approach, deliver for and retain sponsors

Make more of what you already have

A club screen can be both useful and commercial.

Your own screen airtime can carry news, fixtures, sponsor thank-yous, full local adverts, venue hire, events and fundraising. If your club sells advertising on its own share of airtime, it keeps that income.

It is a straightforward way to add a visible, repeatable benefit to sponsor packages without promising more than the club can realistically deliver.

LOCAL ADVERTISING100%of the income from advertising your club sells on its own screen airtime stays with the club.

Some clubs charge around £25 to £30 per month for a local screen advertiser, but your own pricing should reflect the venue, audience, package and what you can deliver consistently.

Independent funding, kept separate

Funding routes are not commercial offers.

Partner Offers can be useful, but they are selected commercial or referral opportunities. The Funding Finder is different: it points clubs towards independent official sources and asks you to check the current rules directly with the funder.

Partner Offers

Selected for practical club value.

These are products, services or referral routes that may help a club save, earn or operate more effectively. Any Grassroot Media commercial relationship is disclosed.

Official sources. Your eligibility.

Listings are not paid placements. We point you to the source organisation, but the funder decides eligibility, deadlines and whether an application succeeds.

Find independent funding

Strong income usually takes more than one route

Use today’s opportunity to build next season’s confidence.

Short-term funding can help with a project. Better sponsor relationships can support the club year after year. The Tendring Club Support resources help you put the building blocks in place.

01

Map what your club can offer

Identify useful sponsor visibility, association, access and local goodwill.

02

Turn it into a simple sponsor pack

Show local businesses what the club does, who it reaches and how they can become part of it.

03

Price, approach and deliver

Use practical worksheets and templates to protect value and keep promises visible.

04

Renew with evidence

Make the next conversation easier by showing the impact of the relationship throughout the season.
