Club news and fixtures
Match details, results, social dates, junior activity, volunteer calls, membership reminders and quick notices can stay current.

Clubhouse screens
Use a portrait digital screen for club news, fixtures, sponsors, events, fundraising and local advertising, while keeping at least two-thirds of the airtime for your own club messages.
A useful screen for a real club space
Club content can include fixtures, results, events, fundraising, volunteer opportunities, sponsor recognition, room hire, notices and useful information for members. The point is to give the club a clear, flexible way to keep its people informed and its supporters visible.
Grassroot Media provides the screen and practical support. Your club provides a suitable indoor location, power and WiFi.
Use your own share for club messages and local supporters. Grassroot Media uses the remaining one-third to help fund the hardware and service, and you can veto anything that is not right for your venue.
Screens in real club environments
From sponsor recognition and event promotion to room hire and player awards, a screen can become a practical part of the venue rather than another noticeboard people walk past.

What your club can show
Every screen has room for the information that helps the club run, promotes activity and gives local supporters a more visible role.
Match details, results, social dates, junior activity, volunteer calls, membership reminders and quick notices can stay current.
Show logo thank yous, full adverts, offers and messages that give sponsors a clearer, more regular role inside the club.
Promote raffles, ticketed events, venue hire, membership drives and practical campaigns when the club needs support.
Three ways to manage your content
There is no requirement for a volunteer to become a designer or wait for every small change. Choose the route that works best for your club.
Email a logo, image, wording or even just the key details. We can create clear screen content for you as part of the service.
Already have artwork or video? Send it to us ready to run and we will add it to the playlist. Portrait 1080 × 1920 JPGs and silent MP4s are the usual formats.
For more hands-on control, we can provide a secure content-management login so authorised club volunteers can upload and manage screen content directly.
How the practical side works
A screen does not need a complicated rollout. It needs a good location, safe installation and a clear way to keep club content current.
Pick a practical space where members and visitors naturally spend time, such as the bar, lounge, foyer or a shared clubhouse area.
Provide a nearby socket and access to your club WiFi. We provide the setup guidance and can help set an appropriate on and off schedule.
Send a brief, email finished artwork or use your own club login. We can support all three routes.
Update fixtures, sponsors, events and club news as things change. When you send changes to us, we normally update content within one working day.
How the money works
The screen is not just a cost-free noticeboard. It can help clubs package sponsor visibility, promote local businesses and keep the value of those relationships in the club.
Your club has at least two-thirds of the airtime. You can use that space for your own sponsors and local advertisers, and you keep 100% of the money you charge for it.
Some clubs charge around £25 to £30 a month per local advertiser, but the right price depends on your venue, audience, package and the level of support you offer.
We can help you think through the package and create the screen content. Start with a simple offer that your club can deliver consistently.
Explore sponsorship resources →Grassroot Media uses the remaining third of airtime to help fund the screen, platform and support service. Clubs can veto content that is not appropriate for their venue.
If we ever need more than our standard airtime allocation for an additional campaign, we can pay the club to borrow extra time.
Installation, safety and insurance
We want the screen to be useful and safe in equal measure. The short version is below; full technical instructions remain available for every screen type.
Grassroot Media does not attend sites to fit screens. All supplied hardware remains the property of Grassroot Media.

The screen, platform and core support are free. The club provides its existing WiFi and the small amount of electricity required to run the screen. Electricity has historically been around 50p a month for an average club, although this will vary by screen model and opening hours.
Yes. Screens can be used manually, and we can help arrange a regular on and off schedule. For long closures or the off-season, it is fine to power the equipment off at the wall.
Yes. Your club has at least two thirds of the airtime for its own content. You can use it for news, fixtures, sponsor messages, local advertisers, events, fundraising and other club priorities.
No. You can send a brief and we can create the content, send finished artwork for us to place, or ask for a club login so authorised volunteers can upload content directly.
Most issues can be solved with a restart and a quick check of the connection. We provide installation guidance, troubleshooting support and help with content throughout the relationship.
