Campaign story

What happened, and what it shows.

The brief

TNT Sports wanted to reach sports people in venues where sport is already a live social conversation. The opportunity was to move beyond a single sport label and show that grassroots players are broader sports fans.

The campaign

Full motion digital creative ran across Grassroot Media clubhouse screens in football, rugby, cricket and bowls clubs, providing repeated exposure in high dwell social spaces.

What it showed

The campaign achieved 75%+ recall. It reinforced that club audiences do not only follow the sport they play: they watch, discuss and engage with a wide range of live sport and sports content.

Why the environment mattered

More than a media placement.

Grassroot Media campaigns are built around the setting as well as the audience. The club environment gives a relevant message more time, more context and more opportunity to be discussed.

01

Context

Sport is already part of the room, so the campaign appears where its audience is naturally engaged with the subject.

02

Repeat exposure

Members return regularly, giving posters and screens more than 1 chance to be noticed and remembered.

03

Club conversation

Clubhouses create shared social moments where relevant brands, offers and content can become part of the discussion.

Plan your route
