Campaign story

What happened, and what it shows.

The brief

AMC True Crime wanted to reach an older, active audience in trusted social settings where television and entertainment are natural topics of conversation.

The campaign

Creative appeared across bowls club screens and posters, building repeated visibility around the regular routines of club life. The campaign was designed to be noticed during longer dwell moments, not simply passed in a fleeting outdoor environment.

What it showed

The campaign achieved 57% recall and generated claimed viewing behaviour. It demonstrates how a relevant entertainment message can become part of the conversation in a well chosen club environment.

Why the environment mattered

More than a media placement.

Grassroot Media campaigns are built around the setting as well as the audience. The club environment gives a relevant message more time, more context and more opportunity to be discussed.

01

Context

Sport is already part of the room, so the campaign appears where its audience is naturally engaged with the subject.

02

Repeat exposure

Members return regularly, giving posters and screens more than 1 chance to be noticed and remembered.

03

Club conversation

Clubhouses create shared social moments where relevant brands, offers and content can become part of the discussion.

Plan your route

Use the evidence to build the next campaign.

Choose the sport, format and timing that best fit the audience and objective. Then build the creative around the real club environment.
