Public Liability Insurance (Including Product Liability)
Provider: Markel UK
Cover Limit: £5 million
Cover Includes:
- Public liability: Protects against claims of injury or damage to property caused by our poster frames, digital screens, or any other hardware we provide.
- Product liability: Covers incidents where a screen, frame, or power accessory we supply causes harm, even if the product itself was sourced from a third party.
- Legal defence costs: Covers solicitor fees and legal costs in the event of a claim.
Why This Matters
- Our liability cover protects both us and the clubs we work with.
- Clubs remain responsible for installing any screens or poster frames.
- Even if we do not physically attend the venue, the cover helps address any legal claims that may arise from the equipment we supply.
Summary for Clubs and Venues
When you agree to host a screen or poster frame from Grassroot Media:
- The hardware remains our property
- You are responsible for installation
- You are free to display your own content alongside national campaigns
- As long as you follow our instructions you are protected by our public and product liability insurance if any issue arises from the use of our equipment
