Bowls Clubs Network: A Unique Advertising Opportunity

ddbowls

Grassroot Media, a project from parent company mbcg Ltd, is excited to announce the expansion of our innovative advertising model to the world of lawn & indoor bowls. Our new Bowls Club Network is not just an advertising space; it’s a community-focused initiative designed to connect brands with an engaged and active over-50s audience.

The Network:

  • Currently comprises 66 clubs, with plans to grow organically.
  • Each club hosts four A3 frames, totaling 264 frames.
  • Frames are strategically placed both indoors and outdoors.
  • Additional DL leaflet holders provide an opportunity for advertisers to distribute printed materials.

Audience Insights:

  • Average club membership: 246 members.
  • Average visit frequency: 2.5 times per week (April to October).
  • Fortnightly footfall: 243,540 including visiting/away players.
  • Each visit offers 8 potential impressions per member, totaling 1,948,320 impacts.

The Power of Targeted Advertising:

The Bowls Club Network offers a unique avenue to reach a specific demographic. It’s an excellent platform for brands targeting the active, over-50s audience, a group known for their brand loyalty and spending power. Compared to traditional media like Saga Magazine and TV Times, our network provides a more direct and interactive way to engage this demographic.

Opportunities for Advertisers:

  • Reach a targeted, affluent audience.
  • High visibility in communal areas of the clubs.
  • Integrated advertising options with posters and leaflets.
  • Direct community engagement and brand presence.

As we continue to expand this network, we’re keen to collaborate with brands and agencies that align with our community-focused approach. If you’re interested in tapping into this unique market or have any inquiries, please get in touch with Mat on mc@mbcg.media.

For potential advertisers, this is not just a chance to advertise; it’s an opportunity to be part of a community, to connect and engage with an audience that values quality and commitment.
