This weekend, Grassroot Media was proud to support the Matt Hampson Foundation by donating free airtime across our digital screen network of 100+ grassroots sports clubs.
The campaign promoted the Foundation’s upcoming BBC Radio 4 Charity Appeal, which airs on Sunday 24th August at 7:54am and 9:25pm, and again on Thursday 28th August at 3:27pm. Presented by Matt himself, the appeal will raise vital awareness and funds for a cause close to the heart of many rugby communities.
🎯 Why It Matters
The Matt Hampson Foundation plays a unique and powerful role in the rugby world, helping young people who have experienced life-changing injuries through sport. It supports them physically, mentally and emotionally empowering them to “Get Busy Living.”
🖥️ Our Role
Grassroot Media’s rugby screen network places digital displays in the clubhouses and bars of grassroots rugby clubs across the UK. These high-dwell spaces provide a trusted, community-first way to reach players, fans and volunteers.
By giving the Matt Hampson Foundation space on these screens, we helped the campaign connect directly with the kind of people who understand exactly why this work matters.
We’re honoured to have played a small part in amplifying their message.
