Our Role in the Home Office’s ‘Enough’ Campaign in Football Locker Rooms

At mbcg Ltd and Grassroot Media, we believe in the power of advertising to make a real difference. That’s why we are incredibly proud to be part of the Home Office‘s latest ‘Enough‘ campaign, an initiative that takes a strong stance on respect and consent in relationships. Our unique contribution? Bringing this crucial message to over 400 grassroots football locker rooms across the country.

A Campaign with a Purpose

The ‘Enough’ campaign is more than just an advertising effort. It’s a call to action and a prompt for necessary conversations, particularly in environments where they can have the most significant impact. The setting for this dialogue is pivotal – the football locker room, a place of camaraderie, team spirit, and meaningful conversation.

Our specially designed locker room poster, set at a poignant moment – after a game – does more than just hang on the walls. It challenges behaviors and sparks a dialogue on a subject that often goes undiscussed in these environments. The scenario depicted in the poster is relatable, making the message both impactful and impossible to ignore.

Supporting Local Sports and Communities

What excites us most about this campaign is its dual impact. Not only does it address a vital social issue, but it also directly supports the local sports clubs and councils that form our network. Half of the revenue generated from this campaign is funneled back to these clubs and councils, aiding local sports development and strengthening community bonds.

This approach aligns perfectly with our ethos at mbcg Ltd and Grassroot Media. We’ve always believed in the power of local communities and grassroots sports, and this campaign allows us to contribute to these causes meaningfully.

The Impact

With an audience of approximately 90,000 footballers over the next month, the potential for this campaign to make a real difference is enormous. It’s not just about the immediate reactions to the posters but the long-term conversations and changes in attitudes they can inspire.

We are proud to play a part in this significant initiative and are eager to see the positive change it brings about in attitudes towards respect and consent.
