A simple, sustainable way for grassroots clubs to raise funds every week
Running a grassroots club is hard enough without worrying about money. The Grassroot Support Lottery is a simple, not-for-profit way to generate regular income — with no setup costs, no admin, and no risk.
It’s free for clubs to join, quick to set up, and built to make fundraising a little bit easier for the people keeping grassroots sport alive.
💷 How It Works
- Tickets cost £1 a week and players can win up to £25,000.
- 50% of every ticket goes directly to the club the player chooses to support.
- 10% goes into the Grassroot Support Fund, managed by our not-for-profit Community Interest Company (Grassroot Support CIC). This fund will be redistributed to clubs through grants and investment in grassroots sport.
- The rest covers prizes and secure administration, managed by Gatherwell — the UK’s leading community lottery operator.
